Reveal CT-80XL: EDS Detection for Long Bag Items
By extending the tunnel of the CT-80 platform, EDS detection is now possible for bags up to 2.5 meters (over 8 feet) in length.
The Reveal CT-80XL uses CT-80 technology to meet the demands of facilities that process higher volumes of long bags that don't fit in conventional systems such as skis, snowboards, golf clubs and military packs. Currently, longer bags that cannot be processed by existing EDS equipment or cannot be accommodated by existing baggage handling systems must be manually searched. Due to the size and contents of these bags, this manual process is extremely labor intensive and is compounded during large events or sporting seasons. The CT-80XL can greatly improve the screening process and reduce the amount of manual handling required.
The unit can be installed as a Stand Alone machine or integrated into a baggage handling system for greater automation.
