Field Service Engineer

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing remote and onsite support of EDS systems installed in airports across the United States and in various internationally locations as well.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

- Troubleshoot, diagnose, debug and repair complex EDS systems
- Serve as a technical equipment expert by providing telephone support to third=party maintenance vendors.
- Manage on-site support and performs major preventive maintenance functions as needed.
- Coordinate and assist in the installation and site acceptance of new machines
- Assist with testing modifications and new versions of the unit along with updating the field organization of changes as they occur.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Previous experience with computer tomography (CT) and x-ray equipment preferred but will consider electro mechanical experience in a similar environment
- Excellent ability to communicate and interface professionally and effectively with customers and third-party vendors.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be available to work non-standard business hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of x-ray and electrical systems helpful.
- Must be available to travel extensively on short notice
- Results-oriented, team player with a can-do attitude
