Job Title: Director, Product Management

Job Description:

The Director, Product Management is an ambitious, results-oriented, strategic thinker responsible for developing, managing and driving the product roadmap. He/she is directly responsible for the performance (sales and profit) of assigned product line(s). This experienced manager will develop, implement and manage the entire product life cycle through strategic planning, tactical activities and maintenance. He/she has an impressive track record of developing and executing product launches and increasing sales volume while successfully taking projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

· Define the strategic vision and product roadmap to drive product development and meet profit objectives.

Develop short- and long-term product goals, objectives and strategies for assigned product line(s).

· Oversee the product life cycle, from concept through end of life.

· Responsible for driving the development and implementation of all programs within the product line in order to assure high quality standards, customer satisfaction and government compliance.

· Responsible for resolution of problems concerning planning, design, creation and implementation of plans and strategies related to the product line(s).

· Work with internal stakeholders and external customers to define and prioritize product requirements.

· Launch new products or major enhancements to existing products by working with cross-functional teams within Reveal’s matrix organization.

· Modify plans and strategies as deemed necessary due to changes in the marketplace.

· Bridge key business decisions and priorities with product requirements

· Monitor and report status and progress (against goals and objectives) to management.

· Direct activities necessary for the control of expenses and make recommendations for current and long-range marketing strategies for established products line(s).

· Perform competitive and market analyses to better position Reveal and the product’s position within the marketplace.

· Work collaboratively with marketing personnel to evaluate the effectiveness of advertising and promotion programs.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

· 10+ years product management/marketing/sales experience

· BA/BS degree; MBA preferred

· Proven track record exhibiting product management successes preferably in EDS and or government compliant/regulated industry

· Strong communication skills as well as excellent written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills

· Strong analytical and business management skills

· Demonstrated leadership experience driving cross-functional teams in a matrix organization

· Ambitious, problem-solver with the ability to function as a Senior Individual Contributor
